Week ending 17/11/2007 a Team meeting is arranged in Coffee Day after which the 2 crews assemble & WE decide the Team names.

Team Vish with Sun-Mon OFF are PIRATES

& Team Neema with Fri-Sat are MYRMIDONS

Rocky is now MYRATES (lol)

Enlightening the Mind

Amar/Vish's Team Outing

A long wait was worth it for the Team---Adventurous outing to Turrahalli Betta.

All planned along with Venu (from club x-plore).
Transport arranged to reach ITPL by 0600 Hrs.

Team was waiting for us & we started off from ITPL at 0700 Hrs & on the way we picked the breakfast & from there to Teju’s place to pick the trekking gear.

We reached the base camp by 0900 Hrs & had our breakfast.


6th & final activity: After repeated Rappelling We set out for the Most adventurous Water sports activity that is water floating. return trip & enroute We stopped for Lunch at Queen’s Court Dhaba.

5th activity: Rappelling --- 30 foot rappelling for the beginners was a little too much but the courage what each one displayed simply showed Me & Amar what confidence each of our Team guys had in themselves.

4th activity: Wriggling – a small creek in the rock & We had to crawl between that. That was sure a close fit for most of them.

2nd activity: Navigation – from the peek of the mountain where We were standing, We had to learn the art of navigation & plan our trek to another mountain which was approximately 3kms. Here We did a fantastic job scrapping through the rough vegetation & jumping smaller rocks.

1st activity: Team works – where a single rope would be wound around the waist of everyone in the Team & We had to climb the steep rock supporting each other,
Trust me that was a little too much because people were still not able to rest their feet firmly on the rocks.

3rd activity: Tunneling – where We had to do the Jackie Chan stunt of climbing vertically using the hands & limbs. It was an ultimate adventure.

This was one of those Team Outings which Our folks would remember for long.

Bengalooru 2 Pattaya

Vishwa ! Vishwa ! wake up was the cry when I woke up on Thai airways at Bangkok airport.

Had never dreamt of an abroad destination & definetly anything that happened between Sep11th to Sep16th 2007 was a Dream come true.

Now composing this post Vishwa is very much awake :)

Destination : Pattaya & Bangkok
Date : Sep11 to Sep16 All gathered at Bangalore airport by 1800 hrs on 11th for the 2245 hrs flight to Bangkok.
Arrival at Bangkok : 0245 hrs
Amazed at the sight of the Bangkok International Airport & We walk on the straight escalator to exit.

Two Thai women in the traditional costume welcome us with Jasmine garlands ( U can see them on the album) We board the Thomas Cook bus for the drive to Pattaya , enroute a quick break at 7Eleven ( like our general stores).

Break fast break at Tiger Ranch & Wowww Big cats with all that majesty , it was wonderful.






Welcome @ Bangkok International Airport

On top of the Tallest building in Pattaya Slide down the tallest TowerWhen was the last time You did something for the first time ???

My next adventure of sliding of with a sling from the tallest tower in Pattaya (approx 58 floors) was thrilling.
Our Boss Rajiv was the 1st to take off .
I was just a little more adventurous taking self pics on the way down.

After the thrilling jump We head for Lunch to Delhi house , from there to the Best Hotel in town--Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.

ALCAZAR Show




Awards Ceremony


A quick shower & we set out to the base for the fabulous “ALCAZAR” show—it was an amazing hour that would remain for time unlimited.

Followed by that we went to the Russian Fantasy Show--- again 1st time on a show that was real fantasizing (no pun intended).



Dinner at a typical Thai food & then off to the Famous WALKING STREET --- Life can be that way too. A street filled with thousands of women & a variety of activities that leaves You just staring & that is where I saw how short a shorts can be & how much of clothing a girl really needs (may be a little bit of comparison of east & west).

LUCIFER a disc by the local band forced Me to shake a leg.

Overall thrilled with the way things were around Me returned back on a motorcylce along with Rocky at around 0230 Hrs.

The breakfast that followed next morning was the best that I had ever seen & tasted.

On speed boats we headed to the Coral Island. Enroute was a much thrilling ride of the para-sailing & the dip in the ocean. I guess I was still in a dream to be seeing the clear sea & the wonderful merge of the blue & green waters.

Life could not be any more pleasant than the view of the sea with the salt dripping off My face. Brought mementos for the AOL Team that had made it possible for Me to be there – key chains with their names engraved in wonderful color’s.

Returned back & took a bath in the sea that evening & got ready for the Awards Night in the Trekking attire.

Awards night in Pattaya, would remain in the cells of My brain for long & probably the high too.


Dinner Cruise
Next morning after breakfast & check-out We headed to Bangkok , a long journey amidst the beauty of Thailand.

Lunch at Delhi haat & then to Rembrant Hotel.

A quick shower & off to Choa Priya River for the dinner cruise, even now dreams were running around & I was just going with the sail.
Cruise band entertained us with her Bollywood numbers.




Irresistible Food on deck

From there we head to the saulim night bazaar & did a little bit of shopping there & that was the beginning of the Bahts shedding.

Next morning Myself,Rocky,Paul & Shyam head to Lotus Tesco for the rest of our shopping & from there to MBKshopping mall & the shopping was almost complete except for the chocolates.

It all happened so fast that We found ourselves heading back to the Bangkok airport & there spent the remaining Bahts for chocolates & headed for check-in.

Dinner on plane & woke up to the fresh breath of My India at the Bangalore airport at 0000 Hrs.

Thanks a Million to AOL for making a dream come true & thanks to all those whom I worked with for the continued faith & support.

Bheja Fry

Hmmm...now that looks real neat (lol)

We had a Bheja Fry competetion in AOL & from Technical support We had to do a print ad on Reebok Tea.

Myself (Mascot) , Deepak (Graphic designer), Guru & Rony (Fittings incharge) jammed up for a brain storming on the topic & this was the best We could get.

We secured the 2nd place for the print ad.

Strange are the ways of Life - - - :)

Untill 20th of August 2007 1800hrs Vishwanath.N was a Bachelor & then came the Magic Girl Soumya in an Orange saari with Her Parents & Brother & took My breath away.

Just 2mins & 30secs of conversation & I felt Soumya may be the one made for Me.

As Kiran & Ramya are leaving for U.S. Engagement fixed on 2nd Sep 2007.

Hardly have any time to know Soumya or the other way round , poor Soumya doesn't have much time to know Vishwanath.

Strange but true , WE have decided to live together for the rest of OUR lives.

Sri's Engagement

Let Me first start with a Burppppppppp .............. food was just too good for Me.
Finally without any issues at work got my Vac for Sri's engagement.
Departure from Bengalooru : 2200hrs on 14th august 2007

Arrival at Rayadurga : 0815hrs on 15th august 2007

A quick shower , blessings from Lord Shiva & the celebration starts.

Idly-Vada-Kesaribath for breakfast---too good

Shailaja (the bride) welcomes Sridhar with a RED rose Bouquet.

Both take on the stage (no stage fear at all---just kidding).
Exchange of dress material & it's make up time.

Back on stage , this time with more confidence & more smiles than before.

Cake cutting , now they seem to be more comfortable.

My heart felt pities (he he he) for standing so long for the photo session - Sri & Shailaja looked exhausted.

Late Lunch

Little did WE (boys gang) bother to wait for them for Lunch--- it was real satisfying food.
As usual after food is a nice nap.
Woke up at 1730hrs - got ready for the train & off We were to Bengalooru.

Strange but True I fell in Love with the Mountain & the rocks at the background of the Wedding Hall.
Dinner on train no 584 , a memorable one (packing that surprised everyone).

The 1st only Cousins Trip :-
Destination : Madikeri
Date : 16th & 17th of June

It couldn't have been any better or anything more that anyone of us could have asked for.

Pleasant moments with laughter unlimited was the only soul motive & target achieved.

Journey kicks off at 0030hrs & arrival at Madikeri 0630hrs.

A warm welcome by Mr.Puttappa & Mrs.Sachi into their Estate Homestay. A quick shower & superb breakfast with home made honey.

Took off to Talakaveri , & that is when we experienced the Mungaru Male effect. Clouds sailing next to You & the Mist kissing Your cheeks , the aroma of wet earth & the coffee beans.

Singing all the way we returned to Madikeri bus stand where we had our lunch & from there to Abbe Falls.

Snacks Time after a Drenched return

On the Way We visited Omkaareshwara Temple & back to the Estate. Had some real good snacks & sat down for the family conversation.

Dinner time... wow the Mango Chutney !

Dinner time with the gaslight ON :- Probably one of the best Dinner I've had. The Mango chutney was just awesome , oh ! Sachi aunty is the next best to my Mother in cooking.

The hospitality of Coorgi's is the Best , with half our mind on the Estate We had to leave to Kushalanagar.

Dubare Elephant training camp

Dubare Elephant training camp was the place where Chinmayi , Aishu & Shriya enjoyed the most.

" Golden Temple "

From Dubare to Kushalnagar for Lunch & from there to the Famous Golden Temple. Wonders are created when Men meet Mountains & thats what the Golden Temple is all about.

A sudden plan to visit Srirangapatna & to catch up with the old Men's gang there who had come from Nanjanagudu. All tired we return back to Bengalooru.

The Memories will be cherished for long !!!!!!!!

16th June 2007 19:32 hrs marks the entry of another Cub into the Family.

Instantly named as " SKANDA" & the 1 who did not want to wait another 2months for his arrival on Earth.

The time he Chose was very unfair where Myself & Father had been out of station.

After spending 22days in the captivity of Appolo Hospital he finally arrives home & composing this post flashes his sweet smile across My mind.

Wishing My Skanda dear all Success !!!!!!!!

Life Style

Minutes of patience is what this is all about.
Ramya & Kiran wanted to see how I look with my pierced ears & I added a lilttle bit of creativity to make the album look interesting.

The day was Feb10th 2007 , Myself & Deepu went to Commercial street with a mission on hand --- Piercing My ears !!!

2 pricks & the mission was complete , returned back home , Anna & Amma were happy to see the silver ear rings---It was a compliment when they said "It doesn't look obvious & it suits Your Personality ".

Could I have asked for anything more ???

Friends were a sort of amazed to see this change & it was a new look on the AOL floor , because the very next day I had to report as a Subject Matter Expert.

Well it really feels good to start a new role with a new look--- :)

CHANGE IS THE ESSENCE OF LIFE & AM ENJOYING EVERY BIT OF IT.

Way to go Vishwa !!!
