Nov-1997 the day was as usual & I had returned back from My MVC(Mico Vocational Training) 1st shift.My Father never gave a hint that Anantha Chikkappa would be coming home & guess what ? He comes on a Hero Honda along with Seenanna Chikkappa.After they come inside the House,Father calls Me & says "Doni edu ninage--hosa gaadi"---I was jumping with joy (what a pleasant surprise).My bike now had run 3000kms,model 1994 & My 1st ride to MVC was so much fun,boasting about My Bike to all My friends.

She was a splendid machine which never stopped enroute till date---& as far as I can remember 2punctures,one right opposite to the puncture shop & the other when it was parked overnight.
Well,year 2002 was bad because she developed a crack on the tank which i had to weld with M-Seal.

Somehow she never gave way enroute even though I took it to the limits(especially during the run around with Sridhar's house shifting because of bad rains)...

Final realisation after 33000kms---gave Her for a complete overhaul & Raja scooter garage took 4 months to get Her done.

Though i brought it for 25000/- rode it for good 10 years,still gives a mileage of 50kms+ to which I'm ever gratefull.

More than the cost it's the sentiment behind the gift that's important to Me & hence She looks awesome with the new look what I've given.

The logo on the tank & shield now is Hitler's Swastik---the reason being Hitler is My idol.

Ah ! this again was 1 of those instant plans which Myself & Sridhar executed. Venkatesh joined us later...Journey starts off from Tavarekere bus stop(31-mar-2006)to Majestic bus stand & from there to Madikeri---our final destination.We lodged in & our 1st trip from there was to Talakaveri, took a bus 2 Bagamandala, took the blessings from Bhagandeshwara & from there a rickshaw to Talakaveri...it was a wonderful drive through the ghats. After offering the prayers to Kaveri, We climbed the Brahmagiri hill--oh!! what a view with the windmills located on the hills.Return journey to Madikeri, lunch @ a local restaurant & again a rickshaw drive 2 Abbi falls, Raja's Tomb, Omkareshwara Temple & Raja's seat. It was a great feelin 2 be sitting @ the Raja's seat. After our return to the hotel we rushed off to the best restaurant there bcoz we planned to go a kannada movie 'pandu ranga vittala'.No comments on the movie. Next day(02-apr-2006) after breakfast we left 2 Kushalanagar--- from there autorickshaw hired to go to the following places :-
Golden Temple---a Tibetian Temple & Sera May university.
Dubare Elephant training camp (unfortunately the elephants were taken 2 the jungle 4 training.
Nisargadhama---cool place 2 rest (all botanical name plates on trees).
Harangi Dam (unfortunately the dam gates were closed) but was looking scary.
From Kushalanagar to Mysore by bus...We were sitting in the back seat of the Red Dibba & U can imagine how horrible the journey should be with the bad roads.After We reached Mysore,Myself & Sridhar did not want to travel to Bangalore but Venki had to attend an interview & so he left. We lodged in a Hotel,walked to the entrance of the Mysore Palace, sat on a fence discussing life (as usual). After a good nights rest came back by train to Bangalore(03-apr-2006).It was a superb company. Herez the link for snaps from Sridhar's cam.

How do I start this walkathon of a life time with 1 of the best mate ever ???
This was in my blog which I had deleted during my experiments with the blog...
2day sittin here in Mumbai Stream AOl, found some time 2 recollect all the frozen moments...
As usual our (Myself & Sridhar) plans were alwayz like Bangalore weather (no pun intended).
We go by KSTDC to Murudeshwara(16th july 2005)---second heaven on earth for Me (devotee of lord Shiva).
(17th july 2005)Stay @ hotel Kamath...after a quick shower We go fasting to the Temple...
Shiva on the island of Arabian sea(a sight which really takes U into a trance),all the fishermen set thier sails only after offering their prayers to the Murudeshwara.
We spent enough time with the almighty & then came down 2 RNS hotel(built above the sea)for breakfast.
Then a walk into the narrow lanes of the adjacent village---after a pradakshina of the village We had lunch @ the temple where Lord Shiva kept My stomach hungry( only a little was served 2 me) & dozed offf till evening...
The evening still on the beach was far more than tempting 4 another walk...
after a miles walk We sat on 1 of the benches lookin @ the sea ahead, comparing life's littleness infront of it... Sridhar's simplicity of speech & My philosophical thoughts were at itz best tat evening... all of a sudden Sri wants 2 have sumthin hot & spicy, I went in search of chilly bajji & mixture... tat again was satisfying.
After waiting 4 Sri 2 complete his sunset shoot We went into RNS beach resort 4 dinner--- 1 of the best service & the taste which My taste buds wud not forget.

After a gud nights rest We checked out from Kamath (18th july 2005)& set out by bus 2 Kundapura... on the way the sight & roads to Maravanthe was tempting Us 4 another adventure... We kept our lugguage in the bus depot of Kundapura & ( I don't know if it really happens with others--We both have a lot a things in common) at once We had both decided tat we wud walk all the 14kms to Maravanthe & without second thoughts started walking towards the calling Sea...
The walkathon was no simple...We had 2 bear the heat wave blowing from the sea (luckily no traffic as in B'lore).
Enroute we crossed a number of bridges, saw some dream locations & tat is wen Sri asked Me "WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU DID SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME ?"... answer to this question is not that simple.... finally We reached the wonderful spot where i would love 2 spend my last days (a place where river meets the sea). Evening wud b the best time ... river kissing the sea, sea inturn the sun & the whole world is lost in frozen moments ...
now don't ask Me if We walked all the way back -- we were exhausted beyond imagination... arrival @ B'lore (19th july 2005)
I think writing this blog made Me feel so gud tat I'm gonna visit Murudeshwara 1 more time in the near future....

1st PRANK on MEeeeeeeeeee

Well it would not be wrong if i say this was the first prank someone played on Me...
Date: 15-NOV-2006
Location: Stream AOL floor Mumbai
As i had completed my assignments for the day I sat working on my blog & orkut...was a sort of lost in the process...
on google i found a site 2 download new website templates...as i was downloading,out of blue the mouse control is taken away from me..then the horrifying scenes enact before me...I'm signed off from AOL, the screen names are changing automatically, messages are sent on google talk, notepad opens up & asks for a password---myself trying to relate the downloads with a spyware---Oh My God (me was no longer cool)...
Then I heard the giggles of Gaurav who along with Deepak were making THEIR MOVES on the comp that had network administrator rights...
& all the while Sujay sat next to Me watching this horror with cold hands...
Nilesh was having his share of the fun by sitting on the bay behind Me...
Finally it was Ashwin who broke the ice & told "maga yella eevaru aata aadtha iddare"...
Oh...for a moment i was taken aback...worst spyware tat anybody can sense...

OCT 17th 2006(My B'Day)---my manager Arun calls me to confirm the trip to Mumbai...
OCT 18th 2006---Departure from Bangalore by Jet airways @ 11:30 & arriavl @ Mumbai Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminal @ 13:05...

A quick shower & its lunch time,briefly discussed the purpose of our visit & off to our rooms---

The shift starts @ 03:30, we were picked by the cabs on time & we reach Stream (a unit under which u have Dell,Earthlink & AOl)
After the introduction with the teams & their managers,we held a crew brief on the plan of action.
Working as mentors was as smooth as it can be bcoz of the team's co-operation...



Well now comes the 1st encounter of Mumbai---the day was 21-oct-2006.
We all planned to go to Church gate by the local train & got into ricks,7 of us in 3 ricks---2 ricks land @ Andheri east gate & the other @ Andheri west gate & the unlucky boy was Gaurav...afer waiting for abt 10minutes myself & Babu went over to the other gate in hunt of Gaurav...after we came back empty handed,Nilesh & Sujay wanted to try their luck...after their unsuccessful hunt when they were coming back 2 meet us, a so called local railway inspector caught them 4 tresspassing the railway premises without a ticket & they had a pay a fine of 260/- to come out safe---tat was the end of adventure of Mumbai local train.
Finally after abt 2 1/2 hrs Gaurav returned back 2 the hotel..The Mirador was celebrating Diwali (we were all missing our family). Lost in those thoughts we all went out 2 Sai palace for dinner.


Next immediate outing was 2 Haji Ali http://www.mtdcindia.com/Mumbai/Haji_Ali_Mosque.htm(Zainul from Stream Aol was our guide).We went on a friday & it was gud 2 b a part of tat crowd.
Next outing was to Gateway of Indiahttp://www.mumbainet.com/travel/gateway.htm.Tat was fun,the boat ride,chaupati & the golla.



Our fun in the Hotel never ended...
we were all scheduled to return back 2 bangalore on 4th Nov,but we were requested 2 stay back for another 2 weeks & we did not want 2 say NO...

Babu & Vinay had some important work back in Bangalore & they left on the 4th of NOV.

The rest of us as usual continued the project having fun @ work & @ the hotel.

When it comes 2 shoppin Mumbai is the cheap & best place...i really did not have much on my list 2 shop...

I can go on & on with the minute details of the trip...but the world is a small place & wen we meet we shall speak...
