" Family trip 2 Mavinakere "

Hmmmm...the long awaited Mavinakere trip gets fixed after the arrival of Kiran from U.S.
Prasad(our neighbour) arranged Qualis for our journey.
Journey begins at 5:45am 06-10-2006--driver sridhar was a good man, a safe driver.
On the way at Yeshwanthpur we brought flowers for the deity,breakfast at Kunigal & reached Mavinakere at around 11:00am.
The darshan was just blissful.As the priest was informed before they had made very good arrangements.Every year when our whole family(uncles,aunts & cousins) would go for the jaatre, the rush,the just-a-second drashan was all in such a hurry that I really never had a chance to look at the deity so close & clear.But this time we were all sitting so close & free.
The Panchaamruta abhisheka was a Heaven come down experience.
Another family too was present with us for the Maha Mangalaarathi.After receiving the blessings,prasada & theertha Myself,Kiran & Ramya went out for a walk to my favorite Hemaavathi river.
As it ever was & hope it ever remains like that--She was calm,pleasant & silently flowing with all Her charm.
After washing our hands & feet we returned back to the Temple & it was lunch time.
The puliyogre,curdrice & sweet pongal filled our stomach.
The return journey was just as good & we landed at Seenanna chikkapa's place at 7:00pm.
Dinner & fun with Teju & Tanuja (my youngest cousin).
From there back to home sweet home.

" OCTOBER FEST "

AOl as it ever was, is a place for funloving folks.
Apart from giving World Class Customer Support it holds a high stand, when it comes to keeping the AOlites happy & a place noone would want to miss.
The stress of the never ending calls are beaten black & blue every once in a while by hosting lots of fun activities on the floor.
OCTOBER--the weather was pleasant outside & on the Tech. floor,
a lot of games to be played & lots of goodies to be won,
not to mention the envy of the other companies that work in ITPL.
AOl Tech's October Fest was a delightful sight to both family & colleagues.
My mother was surprised when i returned back from shopping with a Orange T-shirt (the colour that i never wore anytime earlier)-you got it right that was the 1st day of the fest named
"Orange Day 8th October '06".
Oh my God,i walk into the floor & guess what ? it's orange every where--a wonderful sight !!

After orange it was to see the floor dressed in Formal & that was "Formal day 9th October '06",
ever after i left school i was infact proud to see myself in a Tie & shoes neatly polished..

any guesses what the 10th was---well it was "Fancy dress 10th October '06" ,
i had never imagined that my SSM,Sr.Coach,Coach would come in such a fancy way (the photos would do the rest of the explanation)

Ah ah then came OUR DAY---yeah "AOL Day 11th October '06" , myself for the first time wore the AOL cap & hung around my trousers all the AOL medals...
the tug-of-war was the main attraction apart from all the criss-cross dressing...

" Gaurav'z Wedding "

At last the long awaited Wedding of gaurav arrives ... The train to Shirdi (Karnataka Express) starts off chuku-buku @ 18:40 on 22nd Sep 2006... Arrival @ kopargaon @ 14:20 & taxiing to shirdi takes another 45minutes... Myself & Arun do a dhooli darshan of BABA... Evening Bhajan in the hall opposite to BABA'S samadi... Next day starts off good & evening bhajan starts from Lendi bhag... No words can describe the sounds of faith & the tune of oneness with BABA... After the distribution of prasadam starts the grand procession of BABA with colours & drums & not to forget the dance of all ages...a sight which my eyes will behold till the end...Ghorak the man who plays the drum made the crowd jump with joy & the crowd never wanted to stop nor did Ghorak...fireworks made the stars hide behind the clouds,the sound,the colours & the chants filled the air with a mystic roar... Hmmm...all the tiredness of the last day vanished with the charm of the bride & the bridegroom adorning the stage...it was smiles & laughter everywhere... Ghorak arrived with the dholak gang again @ the right moment to enthrall the crowd... With BABA'S grace everything went so well as if it were all played earlier... Departure from shirdi @ 14:00hrs on 26th sep 2006... in the drizzle we move our lugguage from PF.NO 1 to PF.NO 2 @ the command of the station master...a little bit of exercise for all the stuffings of the afternoon... Poor Indian railways,train arrives @ 18:50hrs instead of 16:50hrs... Myself & Arun had good co-passengers,a kid named Sania who entertained us all through the journey... Bangalore arrival @ 14:00hrs Reception in Bangalore on 30th sep 2006 @ Sri Dharmastala Manjunatheshwara Kalyana Mantapa...a small get together of our construct...another get together in Blue Wings...

Wow..an amazing trekk,rapelling & water floating experience for the whole team.. thanks to Teju,Venu & Bhaskar (all three missing in the photos) Started off with a long drive to Swarnamukhi Falls.. A small distance walk through the rugged path.. Team break fast.. rigging the ropes... Take off...Rapell down,Rapell down,Rapell down... Drive to tank..life jackets ON...dive..
